KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After completing a season sweep of Miami on Tuesday night, the Western Michigan men's basketball team looks to do the same thing on Saturday as it welcomes Buffalo to Kalamazoo for the second part of a basketball doubleheader at University Arena. The WMU women's team is set to take on rival Central Michigan at noon, with the men's game to follow at either 2:30 pm or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game.

Western Michigan continues its week-long homestand on Saturday afternoon as it welcomes Buffalo to town. The Broncos are 4-2 at home in MAC play and have three of their final five regular season games within the friendly confines of University Arena.

WMU snapped a six-game slide with a 77-58 victory over Miami on Tuesday night at University Arena. Four players scored in double-figures for the Brown and Gold, led by
Seth Hubbard's 19 points. MU's 19 field goals were the fewest allowed by Western Michigan this season, as it completed its first sweep of Miami since the 2017-18 season.
SETTING THE RECORD WRIGHT
On Tuesday, senior center
Titus Wright set a new Western Michigan program record by playing in his 136th game for the Brown and Gold. The Thomasville, Ga., native is also closing in on the program's all-time games started record, which is currently held by Joe Reitz, who started 126 from 2004-08. Wright has started 120 games in his WMU career.
BALANCED BRONCOS
For the eighth time this season, WMU had four players score double-digit points on Tuesday night against Miami.
Seth Hubbard led the way with 19 points, while
B. Artis White netted 14,
Owen Lobsinger tallied 12 and
Max Burton had a career-high 10.
BENCH BOOST
The Broncos got big production from their bench on Tuesday, as the reserves combined for 40 points, the second-most bench points for Western Michigan this season.
Seth Hubbard paced the bench unit with 19 points, the second-highest point total for a WMU player off of the bench this season.
BLOCK PARTY
Western Michigan tied its season high with seven blocks on Tuesday night against Miami. Five different Broncos had at least one rejection, with
Javonte Brown and
JaVaughn Hannah leading the way with two apiece. WMU had set its season high of seven blocks in its first matchup with the RedHawks.

Led by
Anthony Crump (9th, 6.4) and
Owen Lobsinger (10th, 6.2), Western Michigan ranks second in the MAC in overall rebounding (37.5), tied for second in rebounding margin (+2.3) and leads the conference in offensive rebounding (12.4). The 12.4 offensive rebounds per game rank 41st nationally. Crump and Lobsinger have helped the Broncos take things up a notch in league play, as WMU leads the MAC in total rebounds (38.7) and offensive boards (12.6), and is second in rebounding margin (+4.2) in league play.

WMU is tied for third in the MAC in assists (13.4) behind the duo of
Jefferson De La Cruz Monegro (6th, 3.4) and
B. Artis White (8th, 3.2). In conference games, De La Cruz Monegro is fifth (3.8) and White is eighth (3.3).
