KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan head men's basketball coach Kahil Fennell has announced the signing of Army West Point transfer Joshua Eli.
A 6-6 forward from Woodbury, N.J., Eli played the first two years of his collegiate career at Army West Point. This past season, he made 29 appearances off of the bench for the Black Knights, averaging 4.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest. He posted three double-digit scoring and three double-digit rebounding performances and collected the first double-double of his collegiate career (12 points, 11 rebounds) in an early-season victory at FDU. For the year, Eli connected on 46.7 percent of his field goal attempts and 54.2 percent from three-point range. He saw action in two games for Army as a true freshman during the 2024-25 campaign.
Eli graduated from Paul VI High School in Haddonfield, N.J., where he scored more than 1,200 points in his career. He also played soccer for the Eagles.
