WMU is coming off of a 69-42 loss at Central Michigan on Saturday night. The Broncos endured their toughest shooting night of the season, as they were held to just 21.7 percent (15-of-69) from the floor.
B. Artis White led the Brown and Gold with 12 points, while
Owen Lobsinger secured a game-high 10 rebounds. Western Michigan grabbed 16 offensive rebounds, the eighth time this season it has had 15 or more.
OWEN OWNS THE BOARDS
Owen Lobsinger grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds on Saturday, his sixth double-digit rebounding performance of 2023-24. For the season, the junior is Western Michigan's second-leading rebounder at 6.3 per contest, which ranks 10th in the conference. Lobsinger is averaging 6.4 boards per game in league play, ninth-best in the MAC.
CRUMP CLEANING THE GLASS
Anthony Crump is WMU's leading rebounder this season at 6.4 per contest, the eighth-best mark in the league. The graduate student forward has elevated his rebounding in conference play, averaging 7.8 per game against MAC foes, sixth-best in the league.
TOP OF THE HEAP
Led by Crump and Lobsinger, Western Michigan has been the best rebounding team in conference play, leading the way in overall rebounding (38.3), offensive rebounding (12.8) and offensive rebounding percentage (.344), while ranking second in rebounding margin (+4.0). Overall, the Broncos top the league in both offensive rebounds (12.4) and offensive rebounding percentage (.338), while also sitting second in total rebounds (37.2) and fourth in rebounding margin (+2.1). WMU's 12.4 offensive rebounds per game rank 42nd in the nation.

Western Michigan's backcourt duo of
Jefferson De La Cruz Monegro and
B. Artis White are both among the conference leaders in assists, with De La Cruz Monegro seventh in the MAC at 3.4 per contest and White right on his heels in eighth at 3.1. The two are both in the top-5 in assist-to-turnover ratio as well, with De La Cruz Monegro third (1.65) and White in fifth (1.55). In MAC games, WMU is averaging 13.7 assists per contest (3rd), with De La Cruz Monegro tied for fifth at 3.7 per game and White ninth at 3.2.
