ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Following a pair of home wins last week against Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green, Western Michigan hits the road on Tuesday night to face Ball State.

KEEP IT ROLLING
The Broncos are looking to win three straight regular season MAC games for the first time since finishing the 2016-17 regular season by winning eight straight to capture a share of the MAC West division title. WMU began the 2017-18 campaign 2-0 in MAC play to stretch the streak to 10 in a row.

LAST TIME OUT
WMU erased an 11-point halftime deficit in a 108-92 victory over BGSU on Saturday. Six Broncos scored in double-figures, led by JaVaughn Hannah's career-high 24 points. It marked the first game with 100+ points for the Broncos since scoring 102 against Alma on Nov. 19, 2019, and its first 100-point output in a MAC game since a 100-90 double overtime win at Buffalo on Jan. 29, 2008.

SECOND-HALF SURGE
In Saturday's comeback win, WMU scored 69 points in the second half, its first 60-point half since scoring 60 second-half points against UNCW on Nov. 30, 2016. The Broncos shot the lights out in the half, connecting on 69.7 percent (23-of-33) from the field and 90.5 percent (19-of-21) from the foul line. Lamar Norman Jr. had 22 points in the contest, 21 of which came after the break.

BALANCED BRONCOS
The Broncos tied their season high with six players scoring in double-figures on Saturday. JaVaughn Hannah led the way with a career-high 24, Lamar Norman Jr. had 22, Seth Hubbard tallied a career-high 15, Titus Wright netted 13, Owen Lobsinger added 12 and Tray Maddox Jr. chipped in 11. WMU has had four or more players score in double-figures seven times this season.

FRESHMEN FILL IT UP
Freshmen JaVaughn Hannah (24) and Seth Hubbard (15) each tallied career highs on Saturday. Hannah was 4-for-4 from three, and Hubbard went 6-for-6 from the field.

PROTECTING THE ROCK
Western Michigan turned the ball over a season-low four times on Saturday, its second single-digit turnover game of the season. The Broncos are plus-11 in turnover margin over the last two games.

WMU VS BSU
Entering Tuesday, Ball State holds a 70-67 edge in the all-time series between the two programs. The Cardinals have won four in a row and six of the last seven. BSU is 42-23 in Muncie in the series, and has won three straight. Western Michigan's last win at Worthen Arena came on Feb. 23, 2018.

CRASHING THE BOARDS
After finishing near the bottom of the league in most rebounding categories a season ago, the Broncos have turned it around to lead the MAC in rebounding margin (+8.0), which ranks 13th in the nation. WMU also leads the league with 12.5 offensive boards per game, which is 40th nationally.

MAKING HIS MARK
Leading the way for Western Michigan on the glass has been Markeese Hastings, who ranks in the top-5 in the MAC in total rebounds (2nd, 10.1), defensive rebounds (2nd, 7.0) and offensive rebounds (4th, 3.1). Hastings pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds on Jan. 6 at Toledo, one of nine 20-rebound games in NCAA DI this year. He is one of just three players from a mid-major conference to have a 20+ rebound game, joining Weber State's Dillon Jones and Chattanooga's Jake Stephens.

SCORIN' NORMAN
With his 22 points on Saturday, Lamar Norman Jr. made it 43 times in 46 games as a Bronco he has reached double-figures. The senior has led Western Michigan in scoring 34 times during his tenure in the Brown & Gold, including nine times this season. Norman enters the week sixth in the MAC in scoring at 17.8 points per game.

THE WRIGHT STUFF

After a 5-for-6 performance on Saturday, junior center Titus Wight is back on top of the MAC with a .624 field goal percentage.
