Scouting the Broncos
With four games remaining in the regular season Western Michigan is looking to halt its four-game skid and heads into Tuesday's contest with an overall record of 11-16 and 4-10 in Mid-American Conference play. If the MAC Tournament started, WMU would be the No. 11 seed and face Kent State in the first round.
Broncos vs. Cardinals Round II
It will be the second meeting of the season between WMU and Ball State. In the first match-up back on Feb. 8, the Broncos came away with a 68-64 victory inside University Arena. WMU was led by
Brandon Johnson who poured in a career-high 29 points.
Embracing the Starting Role
Making his second start of the season on Saturday against Toledo, junior guard
Rafael Cruz Jr. led the Broncos with 21 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field with five three-pointers. Cruz Jr. is two starts this season is averaging 18.5 points and five rebounds.
Free for a Reason
On Saturday against Toledo the Broncos went a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line. It's the fourth time in school history WMU has finished a game with a perfect free-throw percentage, minimum 10 attempts.

Brandon Johnson looks to become the 44
th member of WMU's 1,000-point club, needing just 70 points to do so. Johnson ranks second on the team with 15 points per game this season.

Titus Wright has been stellar for the Broncos in the post the last five games averaging 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. On the year Wright ranks fifth on the team with 6.5 points per game.

Steve Hawkins. White is one of just eight Broncos under Hawkins to score over 200 points in a freshman campaign.

Steve Hawkins to reach 400 points in a single-season. Flowers ranks fifth in the MAC at 17 points per game.
Scouting the Competition
Ball State heads into Tuesday's contest with an overall record of 15-12 and 8-6 in MAC play. The Cardinals are coming off a 64-55 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday and are 9-4 at home this season.
The Cardinals are led by Tahjai Teague who is averaging 14.6 points and nine rebounds per game. During conference play Teague is averaging a double-double with 15.4 points and 10 rebounds per contest.
