Honoring the 2004 MAC Champions
As part of the 2019 Pregame Stampede Tailgate, Western Michigan men's basketball will honor it's 2003-04 Mid-American Conference Championship team at halftime. Scouting the Broncos
Heading into the final three games of the regular season Western Michigan sits with an overall record of 8-20 and 2-13 in Mid-American Conference play. If the MAC Tournament were to begin the Broncos would be the No.12 seed and face fifth-seeded Kent State on Monday, March 11.
Last Time Out
On Tuesday, Western Michigan outshot and outrebounded Northern Illinois but was unable to make a second half comeback, falling to the Huskies, 70-65. The Broncos shot 43.4 percent from the field but was just 3-of-20 from long distance including 0-of-10 from three in the second half.

Seth Dugan now has the third most double-doubles in a single-season in school history. Dugan is three shy of tying the school record set by Booker James (16) during the 1986-87 season.

Michael Flowers and Dugan have each scored 443 points this season, averaging 15.8 points per game. Flowers & Dugan are the 16th pair of teammates in school history to have over 400 points in the same season.

Seth Dugan needs just 87 points to eclipse the 1,000 point mark for his career. With four guaranteed games left, Dugan needs to average 21.7 points per game.

Steve Hawkins the Broncos have a 104-35 record at home during conference play. Hawkins also holds a 13-3 record inside University Arena against Ball State.
Scouting the Opponent
Heading into Saturday's action, Ball State has an overall record of 14-14, 5-10 in MAC play. The Cardinals are on a three-game losing streak with two of the three losses coming at home. On Tuesday, Ball State fell to MAC West leader Toledo, 80-72.
The Cardinals are led by redshirt senior guard Tayler Person who ranks fifth in the MAC at 16.8 points per game.
