• Western Michigan advances to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in program history (1976, 1998, 2004)
• The Broncos won their second MAC Tournament championship, joining the 2003-04 squad as the only teams in program history to win both the regular season and tournament championships
• David Brown was named MVP of the MAC Tournament, meaning he was the MVP in both of the Broncos' tournaments this season; he averaged 24.0 points per game in the MAC Tournament
• Brown became the 39th member of the 1,000-point club tonight, reaching 1,007 career points
• Shayne Whittington recorded his 14th double-double of the year, second-most in a single season in program history.  He now has 27 career double-doubles.
• Tucker Haymond scored a career-high 21 points, and finished one rebound shy of his first career double-double
• David Brown notched a career-high 32 points and was named Tournament MVP
