Western Michigan Coach Steve Hawkins
"It's tough to take (the loss). We started off well, played really hard but it was another two possession game. I believe we were very good. When you're playing this kind of schedule it's tough. We've gotten a lot better within the last two games, we just haven't been able to get the win."
After the last media time out and the 3 possessions that you guys lost, do you believe that's what affected you?
"You can talk about the last four minutes of the game but the first 36 are important also."
Western Michigan Player Matt Stainbrook
How do you believe your performance is improving?
"I think that offensive end is coming to me a lot better now. Defensively I know I'm not there. I'm getting good passes from all of the guards. They're the reason I'm playing a little better."
Western Michigan Player Austin Richie
How's the transition been?
"I don't know if the size or speed or athleticism of the person on the court has to do anything with it. It's the intensity that's hard to match. You can't take a break like you did in high school, now you have to play more intense."
