KALAMAZOO -- CollegeInsider.com has announced that Western Michigan sophomore guard Andre Ricks has been named Mid-Major Player of the Week for games ending Dec. 3.

Ricks was also named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for his career-high 29 points in the Broncos victory over previously undefeated San Diego State on Dec. 2.
