NOT BAD FOR A FIRST YEAR
Junior
Brooke Gelesko worked her way into WMU's vault rotation as a sophomore, competing in 10 meets last season. Heading into this season, she was counted on to be a part of the floor rotation, a first in her college career. With at least two meets left, Gelesko has competed on floor 10 times this season. The Stevensville, Mich., native has reached a score of at least 9.800 six times. Her personal-best of 9.875 was set against Maryland and Michigan State back on Feb. 15 and she has repeated that score two more times, against Illinois State and against Kent State.Â
Gelesko's NQS of 9.850 has her tied for 29th in the Central Region and tied for third in the MAC.Â
