CLEVELAND -- The Western Michigan gymnastics team landed seven student-athletes on the 2026 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.
Kennedy Cooper (3.96, Psychology), Reilan Garvery (3.61, Biomedical Sciences), Brook Gelesko (3.83, Exercise Science), McKenna King (3.55, Sport Management),
Julie Korfhage (3.98, Exercise Science),
Hannah Milton (3.84, Sales & Business Marketing) and
Reese Samuelson (3.98, Physical Education) all earned the honors for the Broncos.Â
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Cooper and Garvey earned it for the first time in their careers, while Gelesko, Korfhage, Milton and Samuelson earned it for the second time. King, a senior, earns the honors for the third time.Â
