KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's and women's basketball programs have announced Alumni Day is set for Jan. 24, when the two teams are scheduled for a doubleheader against Central Michigan. Tip for the women's game is slated for 3:30 pm, while the men's game will follow at approximately 6 pm.

All Western Michigan men's and women's basketball alums are invited—and encouraged to bring along their families—for a day of food, friends, fun and cheering the Broncos to a victory over the Chippewas! WMU Basketball alums will receive complimentary tickets and access to a private gathering space inside University Arena, providing ample time to raise a glass, reconnect with teammates, fellow alumni and coaches, and enjoy food, drinks and plenty of Bronco basketball memories. 

Women's basketball alums in attendance will be recognized at halftime of the women's game. Men's basketball alums will be recognized at halftime as well, and there will be a special on-court celebration for the 50th anniversary of the 1975-76 men's basketball team's historic MAC title, first NCAA Tournament appearance and Sweet Sixteen run.
