KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team will head to Kent, Ohio on Saturday night to square off with Kent State. The Broncos and Golden Flashes will begin play at 6 PM at Dix Stadium.
LAST TIME OUT
Western Michigan collected a tie against rival Central Michigan last Sunday in Mount Pleasant. Neither team could get on the board, ending the game in a 0-0 draw.

Lauren Boafo collected her fourth shutout of the season. It was also her third consecutive clean sheet.
BOAFO'S BRILLIANCE
Lauren Boafo has been dominant to begin MAC play, allowing just one goal in four matches. She hasn't allowed a goal in three straight games, which has helped the Broncos remain undefeated in MAC play.
Entering Saturday's match, she sits in first place in shutouts with three in conference play. Along with that, she is second in league play in goals against average (0.25) and fifth in save percentage (.917).
On the season, Boafo is 3-0-4 with a 0.53 goals against average and .840 save percentage. She's made 21 saves in eight games played.
CLOSING IN ON 100
WMU head coach
Lewis Robinson is nearing his 100th career win in the college ranks. He sits at 98 entering Saturday's match.
He tallied 76 wins at Aquinas before taking over at WMU. With the Broncos, he has 22 victories, including 15 in MAC play.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN FLASHES
Kent State hasn't won since Sept. 22 against Ball State and has scored just two goals in its last four games.
WMU trails the all-time series, 10-14-3. However, the Broncos have had more success on the road against KSU, holding a 6-5-2 record in those games. The two teams are even at 2-2-1 in the last five meetings.
Alisa Arthur has been the go-to option for the Golden Flashes, as she leads the team in goals (6) and points (13). Josie Morgan and Samantha Miller have each scored twice this season.
In net, Heidi Marshall has started all 10 games, holding a 5-3-1 record, 1.28 goals against average and .700 save percentage. She has 28 saves on the season.
