KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's basketball program and head coach
Dwayne Stephens have announced the signing of Texas A&M transfer Javonte Brown-Ferguson.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Brown-Ferguson has three years of eligibility remaining and is set to join the Broncos for the upcoming 2023-24 season. He joins fellow transfers Anthony Crump (NIU), Brandon Muntu (Triton College) and Markhi Strickland (Victoria College), as well as incoming freshman Michael Sulaka (Macomb, Mich.) among WMU's newcomers for next season.
"We are excited Javonte is joining the Bronco family!" Coach Stephens said. "He is a team first, talented player, who is looking for a great opportunity. He has a great ability to score in the low post, rebound at a high level, and can block shots. I believe he will make a huge impact in Kalamazoo both on and off the court. We look forward to getting him here!"
