Broncos Sign Wyoming Transfer Adam Harakow

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan head men's basketball coach Kahil Fennell has announced the signing of Wyoming transfer Adam Harakow.

A 6-7 guard/forward from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Harakow is set to arrive in Kalamazoo after spending his junior season at Wyoming. He appeared in all 33 games and started seven for the Cowboys this season, helping the team to an 18-15 record and an NIT berth. He scored in double-figures in six contests and averaged 6.1 points per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the floor and 38.1 percent from three-point range.

Harakow spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Lake Superior State, appearing in 63 games for the Lakers. During his sophomore campaign, he notched 11.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 39.8 percent from beyond the arc. LSSU went 30-7 that year and reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division II Tournament. He saw action in 26 games as a true freshman on a Lakers team which turned in a 23-9 record and won a pair of NCAA Tournament games before bowing out in the Regional Final.

Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Harakow prepped at Western Canada Prep Academy, where he was nominated for the 2023 Biosteel All-Canadian Game as one of the top players in the country in his age group. North Pole Hoops also listed him as one of the 15 best shooters in Canada, regardless of class.
