'EWA BEACH, Hawaii – The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up the opening two rounds of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at Hoakalei Country Club on Monday. '

Senior Haley Barclay, competing as an individual, is WMU's highest finisher so far, tying for 25th place with a 26-hole total of 153 (+9). Barclay sits just three shots outside of the top 10. Freshman Jenna Hayes is just three strokes behind her as the Broncos' official leader. Megha Vallabhaneni shot a 76 to open things and finished with an 83 for a two-round total of 159 (+15), while Alissa Fish shot a 168 (+24) and Natalie Samdall and Allyson Barth both shot a 169 (+26).

As a team, WMU opened with a 318 and then finished up with a 330 for a two-round total of 648 (+72).

Western Michigan begins the final round at 8 a.m. Hawaii time/1 p.m. ET.
