KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan volleyball team and head coach
Colleen Munson announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Monday.
WMU has inked middle blockers Mary Clare Brusek (Evergreen Park, Ill.) and Amanda Glanton (Davison, Mich.), as well as defensive specialist/libero Reeghan Boyer (Downers Grove, Ill.) to the program's signing class of 2022. All three are set to begin their Bronco careers next fall.
Mary Clare Brusek • 6-0 • Middle Blocker • Evergreen Park, Ill. • Marist High School
Brusek is set to arrive at Western Michigan from Marist High School, the same high school that produced current Broncos
Maddie Arundel and
Mairead Boyle.
This season, Brusek was a team captain for head coach Jordan Vidovic's Marist team that went 29-6. She was named to the ESCC All-Tournament Team, ASICS Challenge All-Tournament Team and Plainfield North All-Tournament Team. Additionally, Brusek was named the Tournament MVP of the Plainfield Harvest Tournament and was a Daily Southtown/Chicago Tribune Athlete of the Week honoree. She was also recently named to the AVCA All-Region Team and an Honorable Mention AVCA All-American.
Brusek comes from an athletic family, as both of her parents, Megan and Sean, played basketball at DePaul. Her grandfather played basketball at Northern Arizona.

Amanda Glanton • 6-3 • Middle Blocker • Davison, Mich. • Davison High School
Glanton played for head coach Tiffany Sayles at Davison High School. This fall, Glanton hit .443, totaled 177 kills and had 73 blocks while helping the Cardinals to a 31-4 record and their second straight Saginaw Valley Conference Championship.
She was named the Saginaw-Flint Area Difference Maker by PrepDig and is currently ranked 12th in the class of 2022 by PrepDig.

Reeghan Boyer • 5-6 • Defensive Specialist/Libero • Downers Grove, Ill. • Montini Catholic High School
Boyer is a senior at Montini Catholic High School where she plays under head coach Trisha Samolinski. In her time with the Broncos, Boyer has been named AVCA All-Region, an Honorable Mention AVCA All-American and has earned four Girls Catholic Athletic All-Conference selections while helping the team to an overall record of 105-21. This past weekend, Boyer helped Montini Catholic to a state championship.
Her father, Brooks, played basketball at Notre Dame from 1990-94 and her sister, Joslyn, currently plays volleyball at Wisconsin.

Western Michigan concludes its regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Northern Illinois. First serve is slated for 7 pm. The Broncos then head to Muncie, Ind., on Sunday, Nov. 21, to begin play at the Mid-American Conference Championship.
