With six games remaining in the regular season Western Michigan is currently the No.10 seed in the MAC Tournament with an overall record of 11-14 and 4-8 in MAC play. This will be the second meeting of the season with Akron, falling to the Zips back on Jan. 7, 84-69.
Flowers Joins the 1,000-Point Club
With 10 points against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, junior guard
Michael Flowers became the 43
rd member of the WMU 1,000-point club. Flowers eclipsed the 1K mark in just 80 career games.

Redshirt junior
Brandon Johnson also looks to join the 1,000-point club this season. Johnson needs just 96 points to eclipse 1,000 and ranks second on the team this season with 15.2 points per game
Seeking to Join Elite Company
Michael Flowers needs five more assists to become just the 12
th Bronco in school history to achieve 1,000 career points, 200 rebounds, 200 assists and play over 2,000 minutes.
Big Man in the Middle
Over the past five games freshman
Titus Wright has been stellar in the post for the Broncos, averaging nine points and five rebounds per game. Wright's 157 total points is the 15
th most scored in a single-season by a freshman under head coach
Steve Hawkins.

Junior Rafael Cruz Jr has been a spark plug off the bench this season ranking fourth on the team with 6.6 points per game.
