COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan sophomore forward Josh Passolt has been named Bauer National Collegiate Hockey Conference Offensive Player of the Week after WMU's sweep of No. 20 Miami over the weekend.

Passolt finished the weekend with four points on three goals and one assist, catapulting him to the top of the NCHC scoring race with 12 points in 10 games. In Friday's 4-3 win he netted the game-winning goal and tallied an assist on WMU's first goal of the night. On Saturday he gave WMU leads of 1-0 and 2-1 for his multi-goal game of the season.

This is Passolt's second NCHC Offensive Player of the Week honors of the season, previously earning it for WMU's series sweep of Niagara.

Passolt and the Broncos are back in action this Friday and Saturday at No. 2 St. Cloud State. Friday's game starts at 8:07 p.m., with Saturday's puck drop at 7:07 p.m. Both games are available on NCHC.tv and the Bronco Radio Network.
