Scouting the Broncos
WMU heads into its final non-conference game with a record of 7-5 and is coming off a 66-63 victory on the road at Milwaukee on Dec. 22. Against Milwaukee, senior guard Thomas Wilder registered 16 points along with six rebounds, five assists and three steals. The Broncos seek their eighth non-conference victory, the most since capturing nine back in 2014.

Thomas Wilder continues to make his way up the WMU record book during his senior season, ranking in the top 10 in multiple career records:

• Field Goals Made – 524 – 9^th
• Field Goals Attempted – 1,171 – 9^th
• Three's Made – 144 – 10^th 
• Free-Throws Made – 472 – 3^rd
• Free-Throws Attempted – 592 – 5^th

 Wilder is the only player in WMU history to rank in the top ten in each statistical category.

Road Warriors
With the win over Milwaukee on Dec. 22, WMU moved to 3-1 on the road this season, matching its road win total from a season ago. The Broncos have won three straight road games defeating Saint Louis, Detroit Mercy and Milwaukee.

Home Sweet Home
Since 2003, the Broncos are an impressive 61-16 against non-conference opponents inside University Arena. WMU has won five of the last seven home games against non-conference opponents.

Inside the Numbers
When sophomore Brandon Johnson collects five or more rebounds, the Broncos are 5-2 this season … As a team, when WMU records at least 15 assists the Broncos are 3-1.

It's a Lock with the Halftime Lead
When having the lead at the half the past two seasons, the Broncos have been dominant with an 18-4 record. This season, WMU is 5-1 when heading to the locker room.

Closing In On 400
Head coach Steve Hawkins is closing in on career win number 400 and needs just three more wins to do so. Hawkins would be one of just 130 coaches in NCAA men's basketball history to reach the 400-win plateau.

Scouting Chicago State
Chicago State heads into Saturday's contest with an overall record of 2-14 and has dropped its last 10 games. The Cougars last victory came on Nov. 21 at home against East-West, 113-65. CSU is fresh off an 82-70 loss at Wisconsin on Wednesday.
