SCOUTING WESTERN MICHIGAN
Western Michigan maintains a 3-8 record, with all three wins coming at home - vs. Marygrove (90-74), Central Arkansas (80-63) and James Madison (74-67). The Broncos are coming off a two-game west coast road trip at Washington and No. 2 UCLA.

> Junior point guard Thomas Wilder is averaging a team-best 16.6 ppg while senior Tucker Haymond is averaging 13.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg and has a team-high 39 assists. Freshman post Brandon Johnson and junior center Drake LaMont are averaging just under double figures at 8.9 ppg and 8.6 ppg, respectively. Johnson is the team's leading rebounder with 6.3 rpg and has three double-doubles this season.

> The Broncos are averaging 74.7 ppg this season and allowing 80.8 ppg defensively. WMU is shooting 43.6 percent from the field, 32.6 percent from three and 68.7 percent from the free-throw line.

WILDER REACHES 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Junior point guard Thomas Wilder entered the 2016-17 season with 821 career points and reached the 1,000-point milestone last game, Dec. 21 at No. 2 UCLA. Wilder had a game-high 22 points, scoring his 1,000th career point with 18:03 left in the game. Wilder became the 41st men's basketball player in WMU history to join the 1,000-career point club.

HAYMOND'S HOMECOMING
On its recent west coast road trip, Western Michigan took the court against the University of Washington in senior Tucker Haymond's hometown of Seattle. Haymond made the most of the homecoming, making seven 3-pointers and scoring 28 points - both of which were career highs.

WILDER DROPS 10 DIMES, DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Thomas Wilder had a career-high 10 assists to go with 14 points at Washington (12/18) for his first point-assist double-double of his career. He also had a team-high seven rebounds. The 10 assists were the most for a Bronco since Connar Tava had 10 at Oakland on Nov. 19, 2014.

SCOUTING ALABAMA A&M
Alabama A&M is in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and is led by head coach Willie Hayes in his sixth season. The Bulldogs (0-10) are still searching for their first win of the season and are coming off a 74-61 loss at Mid-American Conference counterpart Bowling Green on Dec. 22. Quinterian McConcio (12.6 ppg) and De'Ederick Petty (10.7 ppg) are both scoring in double figures. As a team, A&M is averaging 59.4 ppg and allowing 85.4 ppg.

SERIES HISTORY VS. THE BULLDOGS
This will be third all-time meeting between Western Michigan and Alabama A&M. The Broncos took each of the previous two meetings, both of which were played in Kalamazoo. WMU won 73-69 on Nov. 17, 2013 and 71-62 on Dec. 22, 2014.

LOOKING AHEAD
WMU begins the Mid-American Conference schedule with back-to-back road games, facing Ohio on Jan. 3 and Akron on Jan. 6. WMU then has back-to-back MAC home games against Toledo (1/10) and Kent State (1/14).
