Box Score CHARLESTON, S.C. – After a back-and-forth first half, the Western Michigan men's basketball team dropped its final game of the ESPN Charleston Classic to Boise State 91-70 on Sunday afternoon.

The first half featured nine lead changes and eight tie games, but Boise State led 39-35 at the break. In the second half, Boise State came out on fire, connecting on 10 of its first 13 shots to take a commanding lead; WMU never was able to recover. The hot-shooting Boise State offense shot over 59-percent in the game, including a 63% second half where they outscored WMU 52-35. BSU also won the rebounding battle, 41-26 and for the second game in a row, WMU committed less turnovers than their opponent.
Junior Thomas Wilder scored 14 to lead the team and has now scored in double-figures in every game this season. Junior Drake LaMont scored 12 points and grabbed a team-high five rebounds. Tucker Haymond and Brandon Johnson each added eight points. Freshman Jared Printy, who recorded his first collegiate points against BSU, and sophomore Bryce Moore each connected on a pair of 3-pointers.
BSU saw four players score in double-figures, including Chandler Hutchison who scored 20 points on 10-of-15 shooting and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Broncos will head back home from Charleston, S.C., and take five days off before hosting Central Arkansas of the Southland Conference on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m.
