WMU vs. Kent State Game Notes

First Half

• Shayne Whittington led the Broncos with nine points and four rebounds.
• WMU out rebounded the Golden Flashes 18-16, and out manned them under the basket blocking three shots, and grabbing 18 rebounds.
• The Broncos, offensively, had a strong first half, going 50% percent from the floor and allowing no blocks.

Second Half

• With this win, WMU extends their winning streak to seven for the first time since the Broncos recorded eight straight from March 1, 2004-January 19,2005.
• Shayne Whittington let the Broncos in points (21), rebounds (13), and made a career high nine free throws.
• Darius Paul hit a career tying two three-pointers in the second half.
