2006:07: Kari has been a discus finalist in every MAC meet since she arrived at WMU. A consistent scorer in the MAC, Richards has also performed at the national level, having qualified previously for the NCAA Regionals and the USATF Junior Nationals. Kari currently is third on WMU’s all-time discus list with the school record in sight.
2005-06: Ranks third all-time at WMU in the discus ... qualified for the NCAA Regional outdoors in the discus ... finished seventh in the MAC Outdoor Championships in the discus ... won the discus in four other outdoor meets (vs. Toledo, at CMU, at MSU, Jack Shaw Classic).
2004-05: Competed at the USATF Junior Nationals ... Fourth all-time in the discus at WMU ... won the discus at Purdue and Central Michigan ... second in the shot put in indoor meet vs. Toledo.
High School: Set school record in the discus (138-4) ... all-state, all-county and all-district selection.
Personal: Majoring in elementary education ... daughter of Hal and Lori Fox ... born April 23, 1986.
