2007-08: Burst upon the national and international scene during the 2008 season ... became WMU’s newest All-American by finishing in seventh place at the outdoor NCAA Championships in the 400 meter hurdles ... competed at the United States Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. ... was selected by the USATF to represent the US in the NACAC Under 23 Championships led him Mexico, running in the 400 hurdles and 4x400m relay .... helped continue in the 4x400 relay team’s domination of the MAC by running lead and setting the WMU and MAC All-Time records in the event for both indoor and outdoor ... her start helped the relay team run the fourth fastest time in the nation at the Alex Wilson Invitational ... captured second-straight 400m hurdles MAC Championship at the outdoor Championships, also finishing in second place in the 100m hurdles and missing out on first by a matter of inches, third in the heptathlon and tallying 26.5 points for the Broncos over 12 events ... elected by her teammates to be one of the Broncos’ tri-captains for the 2008-09, and becoming a leader of the team.

2006-07: At the Outdoor MAC Championships, Brown competed in 12 different events, accounting for 25.5 points, the highest of any Bronco ...  Brown was the MAC champion in the 400m hurdles, led off the champion 4x400 relay, finished fourth in the 100m high hurdles, with a personal best time of 13.90, all after finishing second in the seven-event heptathlon ...  Brown’s best time in the 400m hurdles of 58.18, which qualified her for the NCAA Championships and she finished in the top 25, currently ranks second on WMU’s all-time list and is a mere .3 seconds from an Olympic Trials qualifying mark.

2005-06: Qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships in the 400 hurdles in first outdoor season ... qualified for the USATF Junior Nationals in the 400 hurdles and 100 hurdles ... scored in two events (100 hurdles & 400 hurdles) at her first MAC Outdoor Championships ... ran the 400m leg on the third place distance medley relay at the MAC Indoor Championships ... member of three school record relay teams during the outdoor season (shuttle hurdle, sprint medley, distance medley).

High School: Helped lead Giants to four-straight conference championships ... regional champion in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles in 2004 and 2005 ... led team to 2005 regional championship ... fifth in 300m hurdles and 7th in high jump at 2004 MHSAA state championships ... 4th in the 1,600m relay and 6th in 100m hurdles at 2005 MHSAA state championships.

Personal: Majoring in psychology ... daughter of Fenner and Janice Brown ... born June 6, 1987.
