2006-07: Last season Becky broke a decade-long drought by becoming the first Bronco since 1998 to earn All-American honors. Horn finished among the top-eight Americans in the 800m at the NCAA Indoor Championships to garner the prestigious award. After having established herself as the top 400m runner in the MAC during her first two seasons, Horn burst onto the national scene as an 800m runner during her junior campaign. In one stellar weekend, Horn showcased her ability at the prestigious Drake Relays by vanquishing an all-star field in the open 800m, winning with a time of 2:04.54. She then came back the next day and anchored the Broncos’ sprint medley relay to another win in spectacular fashion, posting the fastest time in the nation. Displaying the greatest range of any track student-athlete in Bronco history, Horn is capable of scoring points in any event from the 60m dash all the way to the mile. A fierce competitor, Horn has grown to become one of the greatest come-from-behind relay runners in the country. A qualifier at last summer’s USATF Championships, one of Horn’s main goals for this year is to run in the finals of the 800m at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
2005-06: Broncos’ second-leading scorer ... helped the 4x400 relay set new school and MAC records at the NCAA Regional and finished 18th at the NCAA Championships ... finished second in the 4x400 relay, third in the 4x100 relay, fourth in the 400m and eighth in the 200m at the MAC Outdoor Championships ... earned First Team All-MAC honors during the indoor season after winning the 400m and 4x400 relay and adding a seventh in the high jump and eighth in the 200m at the MAC Indoor Championships ... set a new school record in the 4x100 relay (45.87) at the Penn Relays ... won the 400m at the Alabama Relays ... qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 400m ... named MAC Track Athlete of the Week on 4/11 after winning three events and finishing second in another at the CMU Triangular and on 3/22 after winning two events at the Alabama Relays.
2004-05: Won the 400m at MAC Indoor Championships ... USA Track and Field All-American after fifth-place finish in the 400m at the USATF Junior Nationals ... qualified for the NCAA Regional in the 400m and 4x400 relay ... school record holder in the outdoor 400m, indoor 200m, sprint medley relay, 4x200m relay and 4x400m relay ... became the first freshman to win MAC outdoor title since former Bronco Justina Phillips in 1997 ... member of all-time MAC record 4x400m relay team in both indoors (3:38.82) and outdoors (3:35.37) ... outdoor relay team finished 18th at the NCAA Championships ... finished fourth in the 400m and eighth in the 200m at MAC Indoor Championships.
High School: Named to Michigan’s Dream Team ... first team all-state ... won two state titles in the 400m, including a meet record time of 55.5 as a sophomore ... starting point guard on the basketball team.
