KALAMAZOO, Mich. – While the initial NCHC Honor Roll for the 2025-26 season was announced in February, a total of 96 National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) freshmen and first-year transfers have been added to the 2025-26 NCHC Honor Roll for their classroom performance after completing a full academic year at their new institution. Western Michigan had eight student-athletes on the list, including six Distinguished Scholar-Athletes.
To be eligible for the NCHC Honor Roll, a student-athlete must compile a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average or better, while having completed at least one full academic year at his current institution. Student-athletes that have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better are honored as NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athletes, in addition to Honor Roll recognition

Tyler MacKenzie,
Gavin Moffatt,
Jamison Sluys,
Theo Wallberg,
William Whitelaw and
Colby Woogk were all named to the NCHC Honor Roll. Bookman, Cowan, MacKenzie, Sluys, Whitelaw and Woogk earned Distinguished Sholar-Athlete status.
For the 2025-26 season, the Broncos had a total of 23 NCHC Honor Roll selections. Of that total, 17 student-athletes earned Distinguished Scholar-Athlete recognition.
