Women's Soccer Continues Homestand with Match Against Toledo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team is set to host Toledo on Sunday afternoon at the WMU Soccer Complex. The game is set to begin at 1 PM.

LAST TIME OUT
Western Michigan moved into sole possession of first place in the MAC with a 1-0 victory over Ohio on Thursday.

Drew Martin tallied the Broncos' lone goal in the match, while freshman goaltender Reagan Sulaver made two saves in net to earn her third career shutout.

THE STREAK LIVES ON
The Broncos are currently riding one of the most impressive streaks in MAC history, entering Sunday's matchup with a 26-game MAC unbeaten streak.

WMU hasn't lost a game in the MAC since Oct. 23, 2022 at Ohio. Western Michigan finished each of the last two seasons undefeated in conference play, becoming the first team in MAC women's soccer history to accomplish that feat.

The Broncos are an incredible 19-0-7 during the current streak.

DREW DELIVERS
Entering the 2025 season, Drew Martin had played in 46 games for the Brown and Gold, totaling nine points. Her senior season is off to a strong start, as she looks to push well beyond that number in her final season.

Playing in just nine games thus far, Martin has totaled eight points on three goals and two assists. Those three goals are a career high for the Bloomfield Hills, Mich. native.

Martin has started all nine games in 2025, scoring two game-winning goals, including Thursday's 1-0 victory over Ohio to push the Broncos to 2-0-1 in MAC play.

SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo has won just one match over its last five outings, securing a 2-1 victory over Detroit Mercy back on Sept. 4. The Rockets haven't won a game away from home so far this season.

WMU leads the all-time series 19-10-4, including a 7-3-4 record in Kalamazoo. The Broncos have won each of the last three meetings.

Morgan Spitler has done a lot of the scoring for the Rockets, entering Sunday's match with a team-high four goals. Molly Kennedy has been a balanced option in the attacking end, coming into the game with one goal and two assists.

In net, Agnes Stenlund has started all nine games this season. She holds a 3-2-4 record to go along with a 1.00 goals against average and .780 save percentage. She has two shutouts and 32 total saves thus far.
