KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Registration is now open for the Western Michigan women's basketball annual Fran Ebert and Pat Ashby Legacy Golf Outing, taking place Sunday, Aug. 3 at Heritage Glen Golf Course in Paw Paw, Mich. 

The cost of the outing is $125 per golfer or $500 per foursome. Cost includes one round of golf with cart, welcome gift, lunch, dinner and admission to the awards program. On-site registration, the driving range, and putting green open at 9:00 a.m. with the shotgun start set for 10 a.m.

"Fran and Pat dedicated their lives to helping young women achieve their dreams," said head coach Kate Achter They were well ahead of their time in terms of emphasizing women's sports, especially basketball, said Achter. As we enter a new era of women's basketball, we must not forget those who paved the way for our continued success. Fran and Pat truly defined what it meant to be a Bronco and I couldn't be more proud to name our annual golf outing in their honor."
