KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan University women's basketball head coach Kate Achter in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced the Broncos 2026-27 conference schedule on Wednesday morning.

This year, WMU is slated for 18 conference matchups and will open conference play with one of only two homestands in MAC action. The Brown and Gold will host Eastern Michigan to open the calendar year on January 2 before welcoming Ohio to University Arena on January 6. Western Michigan's first road trip takes the team to the east coast for a game at UMass on January 9 followed by a road matchup at Bowling Green on January 13.

The Broncos return home for a single game against Toledo on January 16 before heading to Kent State on January 20. WMU returns to Kalamazoo for its last home game of January on the 23^rd for a contest with Ball State. The Brown and Gold then close out January on the road, making a stop at Miami on the 27^th followed by its in-state rivalry at Central Michigan on the 30^th.

Western Michigan begins February with a home game at University Arena against Akron on the 3^rd. The Broncos then take a brief break from MAC play for their away matchup of the MAC-SBC Challenge on February 6. WMU returns to conference action at Buffalo on February 10 before returning home on February 13 to host UMass.

The Brown and Gold then have a week of in-state games beginning with a trip to Eastern Michigan on February 17. Western Michigan then hosts Central Michigan to begin its second homestand of conference play on February 20. The Broncos round out their homestand by welcoming Kent State to Kalamazoo on February 24.

WMU ends the month of February in Athens on the 27^th for a game with Ohio. The Brown and Gold play their final home game of the regular season on March 3 against the reigning MAC Champions, Miami. Western Michigan ends regular season play on the road at Akron on March 6 with the 2026-27 MAC Tournament set for March 10-13 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

Both the women's basketball non-conference schedule and individual game times will be announced at a later date.
