Lola Glantz of the Western Michigan women's tennis team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count). An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
Smitek boasts a 3.88 GPA in accountancy and earns the honors for a second-straight season. Frazier earns the honors for the first time in her young career, with a 3.60 GPA in sport management. Glantz has previously earned the honors while at Florida Gulf Coast, but earns her first with the Broncos after a posting a 4.0 in psychology.
