KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's basketball team and head coach Kate Achter have announced the addition of Michaela Guest for the 2025-26 season.
Guest, a 6-foot-1 forward, joins the Broncos after spending a season at Community College of Baltimore Country (CCBC) Essex. At CCBC she played in 31 games, making 19 starts and averaged 6.8 points per game. The Newark, N.J., native shot 45.9 percent from the field and also averaged 6.0 rebounds per game.Â
"We are very excited to add Michaela to our roster," said Achter. "Fans will love her high motor and her ability to make plays. Michaela will be a relentless competitor for our program as we continue to raise the level of competition on a daily basis."
Guest also spent a season at Moberly Area Community College in Missouri, where she averaged 5.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game over 29 games. She starred at University High School in Newark, where she averaged over 7 rebounds per game.Â
