TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Seniors Halle Faulkner and Cassidy St. Clair and sophomore Reese Samuelson will represent Western Michigan gymnastics at the NCAA Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Alabama on Friday at Coleman Coliseum beginning at 3 p.m. ET. 

Each Bronco will be paired up with one of the teams competing in the opening session of Friday's Second Round. Faulkner will compete on vault with in Rotation 4. St. Clair will compete on floor with Cal in Rotation 1. Samuelson will compete on bars with Alabama in Rotation 2.

Faulkner and St. Clair are no stranger to competing at NCAA Regionals. As a freshman, Faulkner competed on vault and beam when the Broncos competed in the 2022 NCAA Regionals at Auburn, scoring a 9.775 on both events. In the NCAA Regional at Pittsburgh in 2023, she scored a 9.825 on vault and a 9.700 on bars. Friday will be the first time she competes as an individual.

This is St. Clair's fourth time competing in the NCAA Regionals. As a freshmen she competed on vault and floor, with a 9.125 on vault and a 9.850 on floor. In Pittsburgh she scored a 9.900 on vault and a 9.875 on floor. Last season, she competed as an individual on floor at the regional at Michigan, and scored a 9.850. 

For Samuelson, it is her first time. The Marengo, Ill., native competed in just one meet last season but WMU's most consistent performer on bars this year. She competed in the event in 12 meets, posting a score of at least 9.825 seven times. She set her career-best mark of 9.875 against Kent State back on Feb. 2 and then matched in on Feb. 27 at Eastern Michigan.
