Gymnastics Wraps Up Regular Season at North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The Western Michigan gymnastics team wrapped up the regular season on the road at North Carolina on Friday night, falling to the Tarheels 196.750-195.275.

Senior Cassie St. Clair tied for first on vault after posting a season-high score of 9.900. Just behind her was classmate Halle Faulkner in second place with a 9.875, also a season-best mark. 

Sophomore Reese Samuelson's strong season on beam continued as she posted a score of 9.825 to take second on the event. Graduate student Sarah Moravansky finished in fifth place with 9.775. Moravansky was WMU's fop finisher on bars with a score of 9.800, while Sinclair was the team's top performer on the floor with a score of 9.825. 

Western Michigan heads up to Central Michigan next Saturday for the 2025 Mid-American Conference Tournament.
