KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team heads to Boardman, Ohio, for the Roseann Schwartz Invitational, hosted by Youngstown State at Mill Creek Golf Course on Sunday and Monday.
The tournament will play on Mill Creek's North Course, which measures out to 6,036 yards and plays as a par 72.
The Broncos will compete against the host Penguins, along with Bucknell, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Indiana State, Kent State, Le Moyne, Mercyhurst, Niagara, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Saint Francis.

The invitational is named in honor of Roseann Schwartz, who was YSU's women's golf coach from the program's inception in 1996 until 2013. Schwartz led the Penguins to 33 tournament victories and two Horizon League titles during her tenure. She was inducted into the YSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021.
Western Michigan was recently in action earlier this past week on Monday and Tuesday at Ball State's Brittany Kelly Classic. The tournament was highlighted by sophomore
Bella Brooks taking second overall, while turning in the third-lowest single round in program history after a 68 in the first round. Her 54-hole total of 216 is tied for the second-lowest at WMU.
