DETROIT Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team will travel to Detroit, Michigan, to face the Detroit Mercy Titans on Saturday, November 23, at 1:00 PM. The game will be available on ESPN+.

The Broncos dropped their clash with Michigan State University on Sunday, November 17, 79-42. In the loss, graduate student guard Hannah Spitzley swiped two steals and scored a team-high 15 points after shooting 62.5% from the field. With her two swipes, Spitzley improved her career total to 133 steals. The graduate student is four swipes away from passing Michelle Fortier (1990-93) at 17th on WMU's all-time steals list. Spitzley also improved her career three-point total to 89 and is four treys from passing Leighah-Amori Wool (2017-2020) at 18th on WMU's all-time three-point list. 
 
Scouting The Titans 
 
Detroit Mercy enters Saturday with a 2-1 record after wins over Bowling Green and Bellarmine. 
Leading the Titans offensively, are junior guard Myonna Hooper and fifth-year guard Aaliyah McQueen—the duo pace the Titans with a combined 26.7 points per game. 
In Detroit Mercy's latest matchup at Michigan State University,  freshman Kailey Starks scored a team-high 13 points and added four steals defensively to lead the way in the loss.

Since the 1978-79 season, The Brown and Gold led the Titans in the overall series 23-15. 
On Saturday, The Broncos look to win their ninth game over their last 10 meetings with Detroit Mercy.
