Western Michigan returns to Kalamazoo this week for a pair of home games at University Arena. The Broncos have won three in a row on their home floor, including their first two league home games against NIU and Ohio.
LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos are coming off of an 84-79 loss at Bowling Green on Saturday afternoon. WMU did not turn the ball over during the first seven minutes of the game on its way to a 16-3 start, but BGSU answered with 14 in a row and eventually led by eight at the break. After trailing by double-digits for a large portion of the second half, the Brown and Gold got back to within one late, but could not quite overcome the Falcons, who dealt Western Michigan its second straight loss.
OWEN'S OFFENSIVE OUTBURST
Owen Lobsinger had a career day on Saturday against Bowling Green, as he went a perfect 7-for-7 from three-point range on the way to a career-high tying 25 points. The junior's 7-for-7 performance from beyond the arc set a single-game program record for three-pointers made without a miss. The seven three-pointers were also a career high for Lobsinger and tied for the most by a Bronco in a single game this season.
BALANCED BRONCOS
For the fifth time this season, Western Michigan had four players score in double-figures on Saturday at BGSU.
Owen Lobsinger paced the Brown and Gold with his career-high tying 25 points, while
Jefferson De La Cruz Monegro tallied a season-high 18 points and
Javonte Brown and
JaVaughn Hannah each contributed 10 points apiece.
CLEANING THE GLASS
Western Michigan has won the rebounding battle in seven of its last nine games. Heading into the week, the Broncos lead the conference in offensive rebounding (12.4), rank second in total rebounding (37.7) and are third in rebounding margin at +2.4 per game. WMU has stepped up its rebounding efforts in conference play, ranking atop the league in both total rebounding (39.3) and rebounding margin (+4.5).

Jefferson De La Cruz Monegro rank among the league leaders in assists, with White ranking sixth at 3.4 per contest and De La Cruz Monegro 10th at 2.8. In MAC play, White is tied for third in assists (4.2) and is second in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.8).
DIALING LONG DISTANCE
Western Michigan made 10 three-pointers on Saturday, its fifth game this season with double-digit three-pointers.
Seth Hubbard is WMU's leader and is second in the conference at 2.4 per game. The Broncos have made at least one three-pointer in 409 straight games dating back to 2011.
