ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team wrapped up the Wolverine Invitational at the University of Michigan on Sunday.
The Broncos picked up one win coming in doubles play. Kiana Rizzolo and Ana Guadiana defeated Michigan's Jaedan Brown and Andrea Cerdan 6-4. In singles play both Lindsey Zieglar and Guadiana dropped three-set singles matches.
"Overall we had a great weekend of tennis," said head coach Ryan Tomlinson. "Congrats to Elizabeth on winning her flight in singles and Taylor and Kristina in winning their flights in doubles at the Eagles Invitational. We battled against great competition and competed at a high level. We look forward to working on some things in preparation for our last fall tournament in November."
The Broncos have a month off before hosting the Bronco Super Challenge Nov. 12-14 at West Hills Athletic Club.
