Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan saw its two-game win streak snapped on Tuesday at Ohio and heads into Saturday's contest with an overall record of 11-13 and 4-7 in MAC play. With seven games remaining in the regular season the Broncos currently sit as the No. 8
seed if the MAC Tournament were to begin.

1 Point Away from 1,000
Junior guard Michael Flowers is just one point away from becoming the 43^rd member of the WMU 1,000-point club. Flowers leads the team and ranks fifth in the MAC at 17.5 points per game.

Another 1K Chaser
Redshirt junior Brandon Johnson also seeks a chance at 1,000 career points, needing just 113 points to eclipse the 1K mark.

Minutes on the Feet
Junior Michael Flowers ranks 10^th in the MAC, averaging 32.3 minutes per game and has registered over 30 minutes in each of the last 11 contests.

Block the Barrs
Freshman Chase Barrs ranks second on the team with 14 blocks this season. Barrs has earned at least one block in four of the last six games.

Hawk > Eagles
Under head coach Steve Hawkins WMU is 23-12 against Eastern Michigan. In Hawkins' career that is the second best record over another MAC school.

Scouting the Competition
Eastern Michigan has been one of the hotter teams in the MAC heading into Saturday, posting a 13-11 overall record and 3-8 in conference play. EMU has won three of its last four contests including a 73-70 victory at Central Michigan on Tuesday. EMU's past three wins have come against Toledo, Buffalo and CMU.

The Eagles have three players averaging in double figures this season led by Ty Groce at 11.9 points per game. Boubacar Toure leads the Eagles on the boards with 9.3 rebounds per contest, ranking fourth in the MAC.
