KALAMAZOO, Mich. – On Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m., ESPN Plus will be re-airing the 2016 Football Mid-American Conference Championship game in which WMU Football captured its first conference title since 1988 with a 29-23 win over Ohio.
The match-up between No.13 Western Michigan and Ohio will be streamed on ESPN Plus beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The MAC Championship victory capped off a perfect 13-0 season and paved the way for the Broncos appearance in the 2017 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. The Broncos and Bobcats played in front of a MAC Title game record 45,615 inside Ford Field in Detroit.
Western Michigan registered 404 total yards of offense against the Bobcats with wide receiver and future No.5 overall NFL Draft pick Corey Davis recorded eight receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown.
WMU led 23-7 at halftime before Ohio rallied and had the ball in the WMU territory in the final minute of the game. Current Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker 
Robert Spillane intercepted a pass with 51 seconds remaining to clinch the Broncos first MAC Title since 1988.
