LAST TIME OUT
Western Michigan nearly pulled off an upset against 5-0 Central Michigan on Saturday, but were unable to earn the upper hand, falling 70-80 on January 18. Despite Western Michigan holding a strong lead including a ten-point advantage heading into the final frame, the Chippewas took over at the eight-minute mark of the fourth quarter. CMU unleashed a 14-point scoring streak, shutting out the Broncos for four minutes of play. Despite a late-quarter surge from WMU that included a 9-4 scoring advantage, the Brown & Gold could not overcome their late scoring deficit.

Reilly Jacobson led Western Michigan with a career-high 20-point performance, leading and scoring all points for the Bronco bench. She added three rebounds, one block and an assist to the scoresheet. Redshirt senior

SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
The Broncos finished the nonconference portion of their season with an 8-4 mark, including four wins on the road. They are currently led in scoring by redshirt sophomore

She has held the top rebounding average spot in the conference since early November and is nearing 1,000 career rebounds to go along with a previously-earned accolade of 1,000 career points. WMU averages 70.9 points per game with 40.7 rebounds, led by Walker and Mobley.
SERIES HISTORY

Western Michigan has won in the last ten meetings with Bowling Green, including three wins in matchups during the MAC Tournament in Cleveland. The two teams most recently met last year (January 5, 2019) in WMU's MAC opener, with the Broncos earning an 84-82 victory. Four of five Bronco starters tallied double digit scoring numbers.

Akron ranks first in the MAC in scoring offense with 75.6 points per game, led by Madisen Parker (11th) with 14 points per game, and Caterrion Thompson (12th) with 13.9. COUNTDOWN TO 1000
Senior
Breanna Mobley has the chance to hit a unique Bronco milestone this season. She currently holds second place in the individual career records for rebounds with 985 and counting, and became a member of the 1,000-point club against Miami on Jan. 20, 2018. If she tallies at least 1,000 rebounds this season she will become the second ever Bronco to reach both 1,000 points and rebounds, alongside former WMU player and coach Pat Charity, who hit the milestone in the 1977-78 season.
