Women's Basketball Announces MAC Schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Western Michigan women's basketball team announced it's 2019-20 Mid-American Conference game schedule on Thursday, Sept. 4. 
 
The Broncos will play a full slate of 18 league games in 2020, beginning with a home matchup against Toledo on Jan. 4. WMU heads to Akron on Jan. 8 for their first road game, followed up by a visit to Kent State on Jan. 11. From there, Western Michigan hosts Ohio Jan. 15 and MAC West rival Central Michigan on Jan. 18. They round out the month with trips to Bowling Green and Miami and a home contest against Akron on the 25th
 
Four of the Bronco's eight games in February will take place at home, with back-to-back hostings of in-state rival Eastern Michigan on Feb. 8 and Buffalo on Feb. 12. WMU plays Northern Illinois twice in the month, away on Feb. 15 and in Kalamazoo on the 29th. Another matchup with Central comes on Feb. 26 in Mount Pleasant.

Before the start of the postseason tournament, the Brown & Gold will head to Eastern for their last road game of the regular season on March 4. Their final home game will be played against Ball State on March 7.
 
The 2020 MAC Women's Basketball Tournament will begin Monday, March 9 with the first round of games on campus before moving to Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Field House for games on March 11, 13-14. CBS Sports Network hosts the MAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship Game on Saturday, March 14th.
