Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into Saturday's home contest with an overall record of 6-13, 0-6 in MAC play and is coming off an 81-76 loss at Ohio on Tuesday. The Broncos offensively have three players that are averaging in double figures led by sophomore
Michael Flowers at 16.1 points per game.
Home Sweet Home
After beginning MAC play with four of their first six on the road, the Broncos return home for five of the next seven games. Under head coach
Steve Hawkins, WMU has an overall record of 166-47 at home and 102-32 in home conference games.
Growing Flowers
Sophomore
Michael Flowers has continued to have a stellar sophomore campaign, ranking ninth in the MAC with 16.1 points per game. Flowers leads all underclassmen in the conference in scoring as well.
Dugan Double-Double….Again
Senior
Seth Dugan collected his seventh double-double of the season on Tuesday at Ohio with 23 points and 15 rebounds. Dugan's seven double-doubles ranks third in the MAC and 32
nd in the NCAA.

Since 2013, WMU is 31-21 against MAC West opponents.
Bonjour William
Freshman
William Boyer-Richard has been an integral part to the Bronco offense during his freshman season. Boyer-Richard has five starts this season and leads the freshman on the 2018-19 roster with 5.1 points per game. The Drummondville, Quebec native ranks third on the team with 22 three-pointers.
Height Don't Measure Heart
Despite standing at 6'4", junior guard
Jared Printy has been able to protect the rim, ranking second on the team with eight blocks. Heading into his junior campaign, Printy has just two career blocks.
Tough Start to MAC Play
It's been a tough start to MAC play for the Broncos with their first six opponents having a combined record of 82-31. Of the six games, four have been on the road.
Scouting the Opponent
Eastern Michigan has an overall record of 8-11, 2-4 in MAC play and is riding a three-game losing streak. Despite all five starters scoring in double figures on Tuesday, EMU fell to Bowling Green at home, 80-67.
The Eagles are led by Elijah Minnie who leads the team with 13.2 points per game. Behind Minnie is Paul Jackson and James Thompson IV at 13.1 points and 11.2 points per game, respectively.
