Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into the weekend with an overall record of 14-14 and 4-10 in Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos overall rank fifth in the MAC in attack percentage (.211) but during conference play have had a .194 attack percentage which ranks seventh.

Senior Night
After the match on Saturday, Nov. 10 against Central Michigan, Western Michigan volleyball will honor its lone senior Mary Murphy. Murphy is set to end her career as WMU's all-time career assists leader and has captured 1,000-assists in each of the past three seasons.

Claiming the Mitten
WMU has done well against its two in-state rivals as of late. The Broncos since 2012 are 18-7 against the Chippewas and Eagles. Earlier this season WMU split with the two teams, sweeping CMU and falling to EMU in four sets.

Home Sweet Home
Western Michigan has won at least five games inside University Arena in 14 of the last 15 seasons. Currently WMU sits with a home record of 6-5.

One of the Best in the NCAA
Sophomore Rachel Bontrager is proving to be one of the top players in the nation this season ranking in the top 20 in multiple offensive categories:
- 23^rd – Total Kills
- 14^th – Total Attacks
- 15^th – Total Points
Bontrager is also just 171 kills away from joining WMU's 1,000-kill club.

Start a New Streak
There will be no postseason play for Western Michigan this season as the Broncos have been eliminated from the MAC Tournament. It's the first time in 27 years that WMU has not made the conference tournament.
