COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan hockey's Wade Allison and Colt Conrad both earned National Collegiate Hockey Conference Player of the Week awards with Allison claiming Rookie of the Week and Conrad taking home Offensive Player of the Week.

Both Allison and Conrad had four-point weekends as WMU finished off its non-conference schedule with an undefeated record of 7-0-3. The Broncos beat Arizona State, 4-2, on Friday and then tied the Sun Devils, 2-2, on Saturday.

Allison had a career-high three assists in Friday's win. The Philadelphia Flyers draft pick set up WMU's first three goals, including the game-winner. On Saturday he fired off a career-high 10 shots and netted the game-tying goal with 55 seconds left in regulation. The weekend extended Allison's scoring streak to a career-high four games at six points (1-5-6). It also pushed his season point total to a team-best 23.

Conrad netted two goals in Friday's win over the Sun Devils. He gave the Broncos an early 1-0 lead in the first period and then scored again in the second period to retake the lead 2-1. In Saturday's tie he tied up the game at 1-1 in the second period on his career-high ninth goal of the season. He later set up Allison for the game-tying goal. Conrad has goals in each of his past three games and now sits third on the team in goal scoring.

The Broncos are at Omaha this weekend, taking on the Mavericks at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
