• Darius Paul scored six points in the final minutes of the first half to record the team-high for the Broncos

• Shayne Whittington had five points and a game-high five rebounds in the first half

• WMU cut the lead to just two points when Paul scored on a tip-in with just over three minutes to play in the half

Second Half

• Whittington recorded a double-double in the first game of the season, finishing with 15 points and 13 rebounds
• Jared Klein scored nine points in the second half, going 3 of 5 from the field
• Whittington finished seven of 10 from the free throw line
• The Broncos went 18 of 25 from the free throw line
