(On Western Michigan) "Honestly, I've seen Western on tape and I thought this was Western's best game. I told our guys for (WMU) to beat us they would have to play their best game of the year and I thought this was the best game they've played all year. They made shots when they had to make shots. Their young kids played better and they've got a great coach."

(On the game) "The biggest thing was it was great to come out and win. Now we can learn a little bit after a win instead of after a loss."

(On 26 fastbreak points) "I really think we continue to move closer and closer to establishing our identity as a team. What I think we have to be is we have to be that team that really defends well so we can get out and run offensively. That affords us easier looks in transistion and we can use the depth we have." 

(On Stane's Bufford) "Certainly when Stane's brings the energy that he had today, he brings a dimension to the team that we don't have. It was great to see him get going."

(On scoring 26 fastbreak points) "It helped out a lot because we got a lot of points on fastbreaks. They just weren't getting back on defense."

(On his rebounding and second-chance points) "I have some athleticism and a great way to use it is on effort plays like that to try and get the team going."

(On opportunities he got from IUPUI's focus on Joe Reitz) "From the high-post I could tell they were packing it in on and that opens up a lot of looks for me. It definitely opens up looks for everybody else. If I can consistently knock down shots then it puts pressure on (the defense)."
