(On Hershberger's performance) "It was really good to see Andrew do that because he's somebody we need to help replace some offense from last year and he's capable of that. Andrew got 25 and 11 off of effort and that's the type of game he needs to play and he did that today."

(On scoring 49 points in the paint) "It has to be the way we play all year. It doesn't matter if it is Northwood or Northern Iowa, we feel we have to play the game from the inside out."

(On his first collegiate game) "It was faster-paced than high school, but I think I did a good job of adjusting."

(On Hershberger's performance) "As a team we knew Andrew had that in him all along. He showed today that when he goes out and plays aggressive and looks to score there are not many people who can match up with his size and athleticism."

(On scoring 49 points in the paint) "Our emphasis was to try and get the ball inside and I thought we did a good job of that early and then if you establish the inside that opens up the outside. That's got to be a key for us this year."

(On his performance) "I was pretty happy with the way I played today but there's always things that you can look at and hope to improve upon. I took it upon myself to come out with a lot of energy and help the team in any way I could."
