2008-09: Competed in the hight jump, long jump and pentathlon during the indoor season and long jump, high jump, 200m dash, 100m hurdles and heptathlon during the outdoor season ... set a new personal best in the indoor long jump with a distance of 16-9.75 to finish in sixth place ... set a new personal best time of 26.62, shaving off nearly two seconds, in the outdoor 200m dash at the Central Collegiates ... set a new personal best in the outdoor high jump with a height of 5-3 and a new personal best in the long jump at 17-7 at the Hillsdale Relays ... finished third in the high jump and long jump at the Jack Shaw Inviational ... competed in the heptathlon at the outdoor MAC Championships.

High School: Helped Bellevue win the conference championship in 2006, the school’s first since 1986 ... won the 2005 state championship in the high jump ... Bellevue named June 4th “Michelle Mathewson Day” as a result of that achievement ... two-year all-conference in cross country ... qualified for state in 2006 in the high jump and 200m ... four-year letterwinner in softball with four all-conference and two all-district and all-region selections.
