2009-10: Shined in the weight throw during the indoor season … had five first place finishes in the weight throw on the season … was named MAC Field Athlete of the Week after a first place finish in both the shot put and the weight throw at the Toledo Dual Meet (1/10/10) … won MAC Field Athlete of the week after taking first in the weight throw with a provisional qualifying mark of 63 feet, 9.75 inches and taking second place in the shot put (1/19/10) … took first place in the weight throw, breaking the 65-foot mark for the first time on the season, at the CMU Invitational (1/30/10) … took first place in the weight throw with a then school record distance of 67 feet, 10.25 inches at the Ball State Quad (2/19/10) … won her first career MAC Title with a distance of 67 feet, two inches in the weight throw and also finished in fourth place in the shot put with a personal-best 48 feet, 5.25 inches (2/26/10) … was named to the Indoor All-MAC team (2/26/10) … took third place with a new school record distance of 69 feet, 2.75 inches at the NCAA Indoor Championships to become WMU’s ninth All-American in women’s track & field history (3/12/10) … was named to the Indoor Academic All-MAC team … opened the outdoor season with a first place finish in the hammer throw at the Alabama Relays with a distance of 185 feet, 11 inches (3/25/10) … took first place in both the hammer throw and the shot put to help WMU win the Jack Shaw Invitational (4/3/10) … broke the 49-foot barrier in the shot put for the first time in her career at 49 feet, 4.50 inches and took second place at the Illinois Twilight Meet (4/30/10) … threw a personal-best and nearly a school record distance of 49 feet, 10.50 inches to take fourth place at the Outdoor MAC Championships, also scoring in the hammer throw with a third place finish (5/15/10) … concluded her WMU career competing in the hammer throw at the NCAA East Preliminaries (5/27/10) … was named to Outdoor Academic All-MAC team.

2008-09: Competed in the shot put, weight throw and hammer throw ...  named Academic All-MAC during both the indoor and outdoor seasons ... turned in six first-place finishes in the weight throw ... set a new school record in the weight throw to take first at the Ball State Quad with a distance of 65-10.25 ... finished in third place at the indoor MAC Championships in the weigh throw ... finished in 10th place, just shy of being named an All-American, at the NCAA Indoor Championships, tying her school record at 65-10.25 .... had top throw of the outdoor season, 184-1, to win the hammer throw at the Alabama Relays ... won the hammer throw and finished in second place in the shot put to help WMU win the Jack Shaw Invitational ... was hampered by injuries but still finished in fourth in the hammer throw to score at the Outdoor MAC Championships ... qualified and competed at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships for the second-straight season.

2007-08: Cooper had a strong indoor season, winning the weight throw at two events and setting the school record with a distance of 61-1.25 at the Michigan Intercollegiates ... later broke her record at the Indoor MAC Championship, throwing a distance of 61-8.25 and finishing in third place ... took fifth at the Indoor MAC Championships in the shot put, throwing a personal best 46-6 ... during the outdoor season, Cooper threw 178-0 in the hammer throw at the Alabama Relays and was named MAC Field Athlete of the Week for her accomplishment ... went on to finish in fourth place in the hammer throw at the Outdoor MAC Championships ... qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships, throwing a personal best and nearly breaking the school record with a distance of 186-9 ... finished in first place to win the gold at the USATF Junior Nationals in the hammer throw, tossing a distance of 186-3 and was named USTAF Jr. All-American.

2006-07: Cooper was the other freshman to score at the 2007 Outdoor MAC Championships, garnering points for the team in two events, the shot put and the hammer, an event she had never competed in before arriving at WMU ... in only the second meet of her career, Cooper threw the 20-lb. weight over 60 feet (60-6.75) en route to winning the competition ... she qualified for the USATF Junior Nationals in the hammer, earning All-American status with a fifth-place finish on a throw distancing 157-5.00.


High School:
Finished fifth in the state in the shot put her senior year and second in her junior year ... named all-region and all-league her senior year.

Personal: Major is early childhood education ... daughter of George and Mary Cooper ... has an older sister, Lauren ... born March 13, 1989.
